By Savet Hong Over the past couple of months, we have been coordinating the design and re-envisioning of our “Collaboratorium”, a unique public area in D-Lab which will be dedicated to student consultations, workshops and one-to-one instruction. With the help of architects, project managers and consultants, we have reached the point of demolition. Finally the walls have started to tumble down, and soon our vision will soon start to become a reality according to new plans, proposals and the introduction of new infrastructure. In the Spring of 2013, we will offer graduate students and associated faculty a destination where they will be able to consult with other social science students, learn innovative Data management and visualization tools through our list of services and find answers to their Data-driven challenges. Stay tuned for more updates on the Demolition and how D-Lab’s space is built.
