Tanu Kumar

I am a graduate student in the Political Science department, and am pursuing a concurrent M.A in economics.  I'm interested in the determinants of the political, social, and economic behavior of the urban poor in developing countries. I also have a strong interest in research methodology, particularly experimental methods.

I can help answers questions about survey research, experimental design, and data analysis. Specific topics I can help with might include but are field experiments, surveys and survey experiments in Qualtrics and mTurk,  observational studies for causal inference (e.g. regression discontinuity or matching methods), regression modeling, and non-parametric data analysis.
