Aaron Culich is the Cloud Architect for Berkeley Research Computing. His ongoing mission is to explore new compute possibilities, discovering useful tools and practices, and making them more accessible to researchers on campus and beyond.
Cody Hennesy is the E-Learning and Information Studies Librarian at UC Berkeley, where he works on issues of digital literacy and user experience related to research and discovery. Cody has ten years experience focusing on technology in academic libraries, and was previously the Systems Librarian at California College of the Arts in Oakland. Current interests include computational text analysis and web scraping as scholarly research methods.
Jack Burris has been working in IT since 1994, starting as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He was invited to India in 1997 to help wire the Tibetan government in exile onto the Internet. He has since worked in both the commercial sector and, for the last 15 years, with UCSF and UC Berkeley.
