Emily Ruppel

Emily Ruppel is a Ph.D. student in the sociology department. Her research applies mixed methods to substantive questions about gender, class, and culture; current projects focus on the class meanings of gay cultural practices and the disciplinary influences of feminist scholarship.

She graduated summa cum laude from Smith College with a B.A. in sociology and a minor in applied statistics.
