Bio/CV: 

Vy Thai is a first-year Master of Development Engineering (MDevEng) student at the Blum Center for Developing Economies. Before Berkeley, Vy was a full-stack software engineer at SF-based edtech company Clever, where she built resilient data pipelines that ingest and process millions of K–12 data points hourly, powering edtech access for 60% of U.S. students. Vy is interested in using data to gain deeper insights into how cultures, societies, and public policies inform and shape urban issues faced by marginalized communities in her native Vietnam and locally in the Bay Area.
