Stacy Chen is a Health Policy Ph.D. student at UC Berkeley. She uses quantitative, quasi-experimental research methods and organizational theory to study how healthcare organizations manage and deliver services to improve healthcare quality, with a particular focus on language services for limited English proficient patients. Prior to graduate school, Stacy was a healthcare researcher at the MITRE Corp supporting government-funded research and development projects such as creating income mobility datasets using linked administrative and survey data and evaluating virtual care pilot programs in community health centers. Stacy received an MPH and BA in economics from Tufts University. Stacy likes to run in Golden Gate Park in her free time.
