Jiangyu is a Ph.D. student in UC Berkeley’s Comparative Biochemistry Program with affiliation to Joint BioEnergy Institute (JBEI) of Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL). His research interests mainly cover the biological wet-lab methods and their coordination with computational biology and bioinformatics, in the context of biochemical processes or microbial platforms in biomass depolymerization workflows. His past experiences spanned applications of biological ML/DL models, high-throughput multi-omics sequencing analysis pipelines, metabolic pathway engineering techniques, etc..
Jiangyu received his B.A. in Data Science from UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing the Center of Computational Biology’s Designated Emphasis.
