Noah Macey is a PhD student in Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on the acoustics, perception, and production of speech. He is especially interested in how machine learning systems represent and manipulate speech, and how their representations resemble and diverge from human perception. Noah received his BA in Linguistics from Yale University.
