Karla Palos is a first-year Master's student at the Goldman School of Public Policy. Her passion lies in advancing research and policies that reduce the harm caused by the legal system, mainly focusing on how social programs can help individuals reintegrate into the community after legal involvement. She is also deeply interested in enhancing the equity and accessibility of social safety-net programs, especially for underserved, low-income communities and communities of color.
