I'm originally from the Basque Country, Spain. I hold a BA in Modern Languages with a focus on English Linguistics from the University of Deusto and an MA in Romance Languages (Spanish Linguistics) from the University of Alabama.
My research focuses on developing deep learning models that offer plausible explanations for human language phenomena. This work aims to bridges the gap between theoretical linguistics and practical applications in natural language processing. I am also interested in explainable AI and low-resource languages in NLP.
