Nathaniel (Nate) Dolton-Thornton is a PhD student in the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley, where he researches the social, political, and environmental aspects of critical mineral supply chains for energy transitions. He also conducts related research with Prof. Kelly Sims Gallagher’s Climate Policy Lab in The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He completed his master’s studies at the universities of Cambridge and Oxford, and undergraduate studies in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at UC Berkeley.
