She has teaching experiences in statistics and programming. Prior to Berkeley, Joyce obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, and had worked as a software engineer at various companies.

Armaan Hiranandani

Armaan Hiranandani is a Master’s student in Data Science at UC Berkeley, where he also earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research. Born and raised in Dubai, Armaan recently completed a software engineering internship at Netflix, working on the machine learning platform team. His interests include building scalable AI systems and applying data science to solve real-world problems.

Irene is a PhD student in City and Regional Planning. Her research interests lie at the intersection of urban geography, political science, and public health. In particular, she studies street vendors in Mexico City and how the spatiality and politics of their working conditions impact their access to healthy food.
